When it comes to planning ahead for care, too many families only seek help when a crisis happens. At Homelium Care, we believe that conversations about care shouldn’t be rushed or made under pressure. That’s why we’re inviting local families, carers, and community members to join us at our Planning Ahead for Care information morning.

📅 Date: Thursday 18th September⏰ Time: 10am – 12pm📍 Location: Duston Library, Northampton

Planning Ahead For Care

Making decisions about care early can bring peace of mind, reduce stress, and ensure your loved one gets the right support at the right time. By planning ahead, families can feel confident in their choices, rather than facing difficult decisions during a time of crisis.

What to Expect on the Day

This free, drop-in event will provide an open and welcoming space where you can:

  • Ask questions about home care and support options

  • Get guidance on recognising when a loved one may need care

  • Learn tips for planning ahead before a crisis arises

  • Meet the Homelium Care team in person and gain reassurance from our friendly experts

A Message from Our Director

Annie, Director of Homelium Care, explains:“Too often, families only reach out for care when they’re already in a very stressful situation. Our aim with this event is to help people feel informed, reassured, and confident in making decisions about care early on. We want the community to know we’re here to listen, advise, and support – no matter where they are in their journey.”

Who Should Attend?

This session is open to everyone—whether you’re currently caring for a loved one, thinking about future options, or simply want to know what support is available.
